Employment opportunities and assistance

 Upon successful completion of the course and/or successful passing of a state board then job placement assistance will be provided for up to 90 days. However, job placement is not guaranteed due to many contributing factors as follows:

•Learner will be responsible to apply to job leads given, we will not fill out applications for candidates

•Learner will be responsible to respond to any interviews requested by a potential employer (if the learner misses a set interview date without notifying the potential employer no further job leads or referrals will be provided by TNJA)

• Learner will be responsible for all aspects of the interviewing process 

• Learner will be responsible for negotiating rate of pay  

• Learner will be responsible for getting to interviewing location 

•Learner will be responsible for keeping in touch with the Job Placement Coordinator with current email address, phone numbers, and mailing address to ensure leads delivery. 

Resume: A resume submitted is required by the learner will be sent and used to help assist in gaining employment. A suggested format is listed below. 

Potential employers will typically not read more than the first page of a resume so having a strong objective, education, and skills listed first will prove to be beneficial. 

Use large print for name, address, and telephone number. Include the training gained during this program. Send an original copy to the school email address, support@thenailjuiceacademy.com. Some sources for help:

•Check the computer word processing program for an entry level resume template. 

•If you don’t have a computer, try the local library, copy shop, or schedule a time with The Nail Juice Academy main office to use a computer.

•Take the resume course at www.coursesonline.com 

•Check with the local Employment Development Department. 

•Ask a friend or family member for help. 

•Ask for help from a local agency that provides professional resume building services. (Fees may be applicable)
